I have seen severe performance degradation while using Profiles on sites with large number of members. </p> <p>I would love to know how the CS is configured for this particular site, is load balancing being used, are any load tests being done,..etc. Lots of interesting questions. I think someone must be working on the bottlenecks to see real reasons behind the slowness of this site. It's almost as if the page was designed to <em>make</em> you wait.&nbsp; </p> <p>Try posting a message, then give the page 3 seconds or so. Click on the MyPosts link at the top, and you should see that the new post is at the top of your list. </p> <p>This problem is definitely annoying, though.
