If one is not updated , ore visual studio thinks it is broken it terminates the loading... Workaround that worked for me. 1)Add ekstra aspx page 2)Add ReportViewer 3) go to design mode--&gt; klick &gt; in upper right corner and choose Design new report.(and after it opens, do not choose datasource , just close the window). (if you get out of range error or something like that, go back to your rdlc and delete all items without a object datasource from the report, build and repeat steps) After this the Website data soruce window is back. It was working perfectly until all the items in the Website Data Source window suddenly &quot;disappeared&quot;. The &quot;Add New Data Source&quot; button on this window is also disabled. Now the window is just like a blank box only. And I can&#39;t continue working with the report file like this...</p><p>I have tried undoing what I did before but it does not help at all...</p><p>Any reason for this to happen?
