The log is basically full up, but i can see that its been occuring since at least 03/July/2007.

Interestingly, on 01/July/2007, there were a few windows updates installed. could this have anything to do with the issue?

One of my main concerns is that it seems to also be causing the ASP .Net worker process to recycle quite often. This is a problem because it is a production box running 2+ .Net v2.0 sites.

Any help appreciated

Re: Problems on install .net framework 2.0

have u get the solution??

Re: Problems on install .net framework 2.0

I was having the same issues with a Windows 2000 server and found this thread. In restarting the WMI service, I noticed that Event ID 2003 was logged:

I am also working on a production 2000 SBS server w/exchange and ran into the same problem. I have followed everything in this thread up to this point.
Will post back later if things change, unfortunately this server is scheduled to be decommisioned shortly and will be out of my hands in the near future.

Re: Problems on install .net framework 2.0

George Ma - MSFT:

worker process identity is the default account for running ASP.NET worker process

I'm not sure what you mean here.

Re: Problems on install .net framework 2.0

worker process identity is the default account for running ASP.NET worker process

Re: Problems on install .net framework 2.0

So has anyone come up with a fix here?
