&lt;p&gt;if you must, you can save an array to session to traverse.&lt;/p&gt;

images are stored in a virtual directory, which I can access.

My question is I want to include navigation feature where user can move from 
one image to another. If you have any idea it will be of great help..

Note: I cannot download the image, I have to show from that path only.
