&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I solved the problem by puliing out the Image folder from the App_Data folder.The App_Data must be an special folder or something for system use. Maybe I should RTFM next time.&lt;/P&gt;

So I cut and paste the image link to to my browser and get the 403 error FORBIDDEN.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&amp;lt;sigh&amp;gt; so I think permissions. Since only two roles are used and I login as one of the roles I give permissions to both roles to the image directory. No Joy. anyway I notice that everyone has permissions to the App_Data directory and below.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;For the record I am using server-side image control&amp;nbsp;after reading many post about a similiar problem with master pages. And yes I am using the tilde character in my link. Actually Beta 2 puts it in&amp;nbsp;there automatically.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The master page is in the same directory as the referencing page. I tried different locations for the master with nil results.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;So to make a long story short, has anyone experienced this type of behavior and by chance have a solution.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Gratefully&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Bob</description></item></channel></rss>
