I didn't developed window service before and i don't know about the template.

The "template" for a Windows Service is NOT included with Visual Studio 2005 Standard. Applying SP1 will not change that.

You don't really need the template if you know how to code a Windows Service. But if you have not ever done it before, it might be easier and quicker to use the template.

Hi Every one

i have to developed a window services for that i brought visual studio team edition 2005 with sp1. Before i am using visual studio 2005 standard edition

i would like to know that can i developed window services in vs 2005 sp1.

if yes what are the think i have do for updation means what are the precuation to be taken before update vs 2005 standard edition to vs 2005 spi team edition

if No then which visual studio version i have to purchase

please help me
