I received the foolowing message when attempting to upload a message. I do not have any .Net experience. Is there anyone out there that will take the time to give me a hand with this .Net error message?

This appears to be a really nice looking and funtional image gallery and I would really enjoy using for family photos.

Error with nGallery

Not sure how long this has been going on. Seems my hosting provider changed something and I can't seem to figure out what as the rest of the site works. There are no XML files in my nGallery directories anywhere. I tried admin and get the same error, so not sure what I am missing.

create an image from html

i can create an image when i get the stream from an image, but is there any way i can send an html stream and create an image from html...

like for example if i want to send an html formatted text (ofcourse from a stream) and create from it an image?

Everything works perfectly on my testing server but when I put live, in exactly the same configuration, all works except when I click on an album, I then get

Extending nGallery

Hi,

I just came across nGallery and it looks really interesting...

I am working on a project where I want to have the equivalent of an image gallery, but I have a number of differnet requirements. I am not sure whether using or extending nGallery is the best bet for my project.

I already have the hierarchy (equivalent of: Gallery/SubGallery/SubSubGallery, etc...) structure defined for the objects in my database and I have some rudimentary image association/upload/watermarking, etc. features that I have cobbled together.

But now that I have come across nGallery, I would really like to be able to use nGallery as the image management piece of my application (so I don't have to reinvent the wheel myself)

Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas on how to implement nGallery when the "Gallery" structure already exists?

I was thinking of picking apart the nGalleryLib for the functions and code I want, but I know that is always a bad idea as integrating new updates will be a b**ch...

Any ideas, thoughts, etc?

Permission Passed but Pics are not shown

Hello,

i installed ngallery on an shared host and set the folder permissions correctly:

Permission to photos directory: Passed
Permission to data directory: Passed
Permission to upload directory: Passed

Then I would add one single picture or an bulk of pictures the pictures seems to be uploadet correctly but then i click on an picture the picture is not shown. The url for example: photos/1/1/140x105.aspx is not in the photo folder.

What can I do to make the gallery working?

I have checked various folders and verified that they have write permissions assigned for the ASP.NET worker process. One thing that has just ocurred to me is that I am using .NET Framework 1.1 whereas the web host is using .NET Framework 2.0. Does anyone know if there are incompatibilities between the two that might affect NGallery or is there something in the above error that I am missing?

Album Error

This is probabily a really simple problem that im looking at the wrong way but, i have an upload system that allows user to upload images to a table called photos. On upload it each image gets a imagenumber, when all numbers "exsist" ie images 1,2,3,4,5 all are in the database i can scroll though them easily, but if the user deletes the image "3" my system it`ll load the page "photo.aspx?picature=3&album=1" but i wish it to skip that number and go straigh to number 4,

NG_ALBUM_NAME_ENCODED error

Hello.

I have the rather excellent ngallery newly installed here:

I found immediately that I had a problem with the NG_ALBUM_NAME_ENCODED field. I had to remove it from the album title code that should be displaying on each album subpages. It just won't resolve it. If you see though this hasn't solved the problem - it still wants to use it for navigation to pages 2, 3 and 4 of this gallery for example:

If you try and click on pages 2,3 or 4 you get a 404 server error:

Database Creating Error

hi everyone,

the problem is that, when I try to create the database script. it give me the following error.

I see the module items because of the Visual Studio templates and build a DNN website from it, but not sure what is the best way to create 2.0 compatible PA's
