That really did not tell me enough. I think because I am unsure what I should be doing.

Do I need to setup a SQL db? I have done absolutely nothing except down load the starterkit and try to launch it from my local site.

I have Enterprise manager but I don't know what to try and connect it to.

Is there a tutorial about how to setup the database side of everything I am doing?

I am helping a youth flag football team with a website. Not getting paid and not a pro, so It is a good fit. The orginal webdesigner has backed out and now time is a factor.

I have searched and found the Codeplex Club Site Starter Kit 2.0

This looks to be a great solution for our issue. Once I get it to compile and run locally I can make the changes.

I have downloaded the site and simply tried to run it locally. I am using VS2005 and SQLServer2005. I have done just one site before so I don't know much.

Again, I just want to publish the site on my local pc and go from there.

Trying to complete the initial build

I get this error

"SQL Exception was unhandled by usercode"

It pointed me to the usercontrols/webcontent.ascx page

Does anyone have any idea what I need to do to get this started?

Are there any initial setup changes I need to make to complete the initial build?
