After filling the drop down list, do this:
```
.
.
.
Years(intYears)
ddlSchoolYearEnteredProgram.Items.FindByValue(intYears.ToString()).Selected = True
```
If there is already a selected item, then you will have to unselect (ddl.SelectedItem.Selected = False) BEFORE you select the next item.
