I'm sorry that your first experiences on the site have been so frustrating.

Unless you're talking about 'a lot of edits' - there were only 2.
The thread Mike mentioned had 7 edits to it.

In the future I'll remember not to add followup details to a thread/post I've made.
It can be better to do this via a followup post rather than in the body of the original thread, as adding details after site members have read the post can be confusing and the additional details can be overlooked. I have also noticed that you have piggybacked
an additional question onto your original thread. It's better to start a new thread with a new subject which pertains to the new question.

Really kind of disappointed that you've had so much time to manage the measly 2 threads
The routing to the moderation queue happens programmatically. It's the approval from there that requires a moderator to review, and Mike wasn't the person who moderated either time.

I can see at the top right of my screen that I'm logged in as rwkiii. I didn't actually log in, somehow the site remembered me - even though I NEVER have IE save my passwords, EVER.
Unless you explicitly log out, Windows Live ID maintains an authentication cookie so you will still be logged in when you return to the site.

Also, as a result of that post, I can see that I went from a 10 point member to an 8 point member.
This is an unfortunate bug which is still pending a fix. The fix should appear on the site in the coming weeks.
