Description The successful candidate will work with the existing staff to help create an e-commerce portal. You will have extensive knowledge of n-tier web application development. Your responsibilities will include analysis, requirements gathering, design of technical specifications, coding, testing and support of new and existing database driven web applications. A significant component of this position will be analyzing, supporting and creating e-commerce applications and recommending and implementing technical solutions to enhance the applications. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and communicate project status, issues and resolutions, to Senior Developer and Department Manager on a timely manner. The successful candidate will have · 2+ years experience ASP.NET C# · Extensive knowledge of .NET framework · 5+ years experience in e-commerce architecture, design, development and deployment. This will include development languages other than C#. ASP development a plus. · 2+ years experience with MSSQL Server 2000. Skill set will include Data Transform Services and Database design, development and deployment · 2+ years experience with Visual Source Safe
