I want to put an existing VS2005 C# asp.net web application under source control using subversion. I recently installed ankhsvn 2.0 which is nice. I want to make sure my solution is correctly structured before importing into subversion. My current folder
structure is like this, for example:
----DataAccessLayer (class library project)
--------IbatisNet (3rd party DataAccess dll's)
---- DatabaseScripts (DDL SQL to create the database)
The data access layer uses a third party class library (ibatis.net in this case) which is comprised of some dll. What I'm not sure about is where the library should live.
1. Where should I put the 3rd party dll's? Should I create a "lib" folder? Where should I put it?
2. Currently, both my PresentationLayer project and my DataAccessLayer project have references to the dll. Is this necessary or can just the website project have a reference to the dll's.
