As you probably know, HTML Editor in Visual Studio often changes the way your HTML has been formatted. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent VS 2003 from doing this (we are working on fixing this in the next version). However, you may write an addin that invokes external HTML formatter (say, HTML Tidy) that you can customize to your taste.
