Myself and my fellow developers use the one development server. Our own sites run on that server, and we use remote debugging to debug our sites using Visual Studio. I've now gone over to .net 3.5/VS 2008, while everybody else still uses .net 2.0/VS 2005.
Problem is that in order to do remote debugging with VS 2008, I need to upgrade the Remote Debugging Monitor (MSVSMON.EXE) to 2008. Our sysadmin now wants to know:
1) Is it possible to run the 2005 and 2008 versions of MSVSMON.EXE side by side on the same machine? Don't want to disrupt the other developers.
2) Does installing MSVSMON.EXE 2008 on the server involve restarting IIS?
Thanks in advance for your help,
