I agree about DNN. I have written a few moules for it, and it is kind of a pain. But I guess I wasn't too clear.
You can use the dynamic menu class that is used in DNN. I have used it many times in the Portal Starter Kit with great results. I've never used the sub key thing you're talking about, so I can't compare. The SolPart menu control can be used with any language
on any ASP.NET project. If you have time, check it out.
