We upgrade from MPS 3.0 to 3.5.

According to the documentation we should run HostedExchangeUpgradeTool.exe on the server MPS01. This results in an error message:

    Information: Querying for domain controller...
Failure: Unable to continue. File or assembly name Interop.mapsclient, or one of
its dependencies, was not found. Type: System.IO.FileNotFoundException
The error most likely occurred either due to a lack of permissions or a missing
    dependency.
The HostedExchangeUpgradeTool.exe application must be executed by a member of th
e Domain Admins group and interop.MapsClient assembly must be present on system.

The interop.MapsClient is not installed on the MPS01. It is registered on the PROV01.

Should we run the HostedExchangeUpgradeTool.exe on the PROV01 or do we need additional components on the MPS01? Can you help?

    Robert

I don't think it's going to hurt you by running it on the Prov01 box.  Those interops are normally installed when you install the MPS Web Service.  Thus why they are not on your MPS01 machine.
