        Hello

    totally newbie here with asp.net

    i have windows server 2003 web, .NET framework 1.1
    when i try to view aspx page it says that Page was not found.
    everything in http://localhost/ is not working :(

    i allowed active server pages in IIS manager and that is all i have changed there.

    Did you made sure ASPNET 1.1 ISAPIS are allowed? I was thinking they might be disabled that's why you might gettting that error.

    Active Server Pages or ASP.NET (Two different things)?  Did you test with a Hello World HTML file?

    thanks guys it is solved now cause i allowed only active server pages not asp.net so i made aspnet_regiis and it's ok now. thanks
