Hi - I have successfully installed VWD express 2k5, SqlServer Express 2k5 and .Net Framework 2.0. I also have a sample application that I got from one of the books I bought. When I open the project in VWD express, I can see the database in the Solution Explorer. When I click on the database file and use "View", "Database Explorer", nothing happens. I have reviewed the setup confirguration and can find nothing that directly references the db Explorer. I have also provided appropriate permissions as suggested in the book that I bought. But still the DB Explorer does not open. Can anyone shed some light on this subject?

did you ever get this fixed and how? I'm having the same trouble.

That may be because u dont have not yet created a view in the database. Are u able to see the tables in your database when u click on Tables.
