I am using UpdatePanel with GridView control. It's working fine but when I am going to another page with GridView's paging the background of the site is rerendered (reloaded).

Why it is happining? How can I fix it?

P.S. Background image is set in css file.

Are you on IE6?  I had a similar issue with my Mix demo.  Today Updatepanel always refersh the whole <head></head> section where your CSS is likely referenced.. some browsers work fine with that others do not.  We are looking into how best to address this.. temporarily move the CSS reference out of the header might help you workaround it...
