.NET Developer

Bluespring Software  has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer to assist in adding new and exciting features to its industry-leading Business Process Management suite.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who has experience with object-oriented programming and relevant technologies, a demonstrated ability to perform as a software developer, and a willingness to drive projects to add value to our product and business.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including: requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Maintain and enhance an existing enterprise-grade software product
• Develop within the following areas: service-oriented server applications, web service interfaces, dynamic web- and windows-based client applications, integration with 3rd party tools and applications.

Experience

• At least 3 years of software development experience using object-oriented programming languages
• Computer science degree or equivalent experience
• Prior work with enterprise or commercial software projects preferred
• Microsoft Certifications (MCAD, MCSD, etc.) a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Programming Languages; VB.NET, C#, VB6
• Database Development & Design; SQL Server 2000 / 2005 and
  T-SQL
• Development Concepts; N-tier design, Service-Oriented Architecture, Web Service-enabled applications
• Knowledge of many or all of the following technologies: ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Web Services (WS-* standards), XML, XSL, SOAP
• Experience with applications using IIS 5.0/6.0, COM+, MSMQ
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to quickly assimilate new technologies and concepts
• Ability to adapt and quickly refocus in a dynamic software development environment
• Able to work both in a team and independently; enjoy working in a small company environment
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people (customer-facing experience a plus)
