I'm as new as new can be when it comes to ASP.NET 2.0 and C#.  I'm trying to learn and I really like the Personal Website Starter Kit but I want to code in C#, not VB.  Is this a pretty easy change in this particular kit or am I better off just starting from scratch?

I think you should install the Personal Website Starter Kit if you haven't already. Then decide what you would like to modify or add to the site and dig in.

My advice is to learn the basics/rules of C# first. You won't regret the switch! c# is so much easier and faster to program with

    Hello,

When you download the starter kit with Web Dev Express it gives the option to create the site in VB or C#. Also you can choose C# or VB when you create a new page.

I'd really like to have a version of Jeremy Wadsworth's starter kit in C# but can't access the link you provided.  Do you or anyone else know of where I can find a copy?

     Much thanks!

I was only ever aware of the C# version listed above. I have removed it from my site as it appears to be a dead link now.

The C# version is still available - I have a more reliable server now - www.1steve.co.uk and I will also make it available on my new technical blog at www.csharper.co.uk
