Been reading reviews, etc on hosting providers... my eyes are almost falling out... I need some help! I have a site with godaddy and have been pleased so far. However, I am getting ready to implement a couple of sites for a couple of companies, so I thought I'd seek comments from the DNN community!

If you're pleased as punch with your DNN hosting provider, please let me (and anyone else who's looking) know about it. Also, for this post, as I'm in the US, a US Provider would be preferred (don't need to introduce trans-atlantic or trans-pacific latency). But maybe we can use this thread for international reviews as well. Just post your web hosting country along with the comments.

Especially interesting to me would be a DNN hosting provider that also supported .asx streaming audio and video. And of course, bang for the buck (or your favorite currency) is always a factor.

So I guess I should be first:

    GoDaddy.com - US

    PROS:

    1. Reasonable price,
    2. no downtimes yet.
    3. Response times acceptable.
    4. DNS control panel is a nice touch and works.

    CONS:

    1. No supported way to access the SQL database to offload to my test server.
    2. Only 1 SQL database.

If I get enough responses, I'll make an attempt to summarize and post a review matrix.

You could also check the DNN Resource directory.  I really think that www.PowerDNN.com is the best.  They are a tad bit more expensive, but they're really worth it and they're actually in the process of publishing a lot of free DNN help videos on their site too.

Their tech support is second to none.

This might be a good resource in considering hosts....

Among other factors, they track uptime.
