    Hi there,

I know that .net 2 the login controls etc. now manage the user data within the appdb etc. However because I have existing systems that use some hectic user management etc. I want to retain that in my own database and manage the logins etc. myself. So when the login control (or other) is used do the user validation myself, do the user detail management myself. etc.

I know there is an article that vaguely explains how to do this (I think) but I need something a bit clearer, does anyone know of an example app I can download or a very complete article on how to override the authentication/user management to use my own tables/database.

    Appreciate the help.

    Cheers,
