Why is the Document Outline stuck? My outline extends well beyond the bottom of the screen, but the vertical scroll bar doesn't scroll it. It just snaps right back to the top!?

The document outline is scrollable and it works fine for me.  I'm unable to reproduce this problem with a couple of large files that I tried.  Can you send me a sample file that doesn't work for you?  You can email this to me by clicking on the email button and I will take a look.

Hey, guess what? ;-) It started scrolling OK this afternoon! Now, I just opened the page again in VWD, and it's not scrolling. :( Weird.

I did some research under the "Report A Bug" feature, and found several others with the same issue. The replies state that Microsoft is aware of it and will address it in a future release. If it hasn't happened to you yet, keep an eye on it and see if it comes up later.

I'm running into the same issue... Sometimes it will scroll, othertimes not. Haven't found a pattern yet.

Well, it's happening in Visual Studio 2005 as well, which I am using now, and THAT ain't free.

I have seen the issue couple of times, but was unable to repro. If you ever find consistent repro steps, please let us know.

I also have issues with this.  Not sure how to correct, but I tried switching from HTML Source View to Designer View and then back again, then re-opened the document outline and it appeared to work.

This is a good workaround. Just switching between Source and Design and Document Outline is scrolling as it should.
