I just download DNN4 and run it on my local machine, works fine. But I could not find any module code(like survey, documents, links.. module) under DesktopModule folder, or anywhere under DNN4 source project.

DNN4 documents is the old(for DNN3.1), there is no DNN4 documents available.

any suggestion?

I have the same question here, but after I look into the ascx file in the built-in modules, I guess there is still no any module is currect designed under ASP.NET 2.0.

The current modules in DNN4 is still version 3.1

I think they forgot to zip module codebehind files under source project. is it Too rush to realse DNN4? wrong documents and incompleted source code. They may release DNN4.0.1 very soon to cover these.

Usually the source code is in a .Resources file in each module's install zip.  The .Resources file is just a specially named zip for all other resources under a module.  They are included in the 3.2 source distribution, but I don't see them in the 4.0 source files...
