I am going to be developing a COTS website product and I was wondering if it was possible to precompile the codebehind, app_code, and global.ascx items?

i haven't read anything anywhere on doing this, the main thing i want is the end user able to edit the master pages and the aspx pages but not see my implemenation for features... i know you can precompile the entire application, but not partially.

    Thanks,
    Harold

Yes you can do all the above. I have details in my article: Precompilation In ASP.NET 2.0
