    Hello Everybody............
I'm fairly new to DNN and just got the main portion of it up and running only a few days ago.  I wish to build my own custom module called 'ServerStats' that incorporate a few features that I have made in previous ASP.NET pages. I downloaded DNNProjectTemplates v3.0.1 from dnnJungle and followed their instructions just like they said at: http://dnnjungle.vmasanas.net/Development/Templates/tabid/28/Default.aspx
I built my ServerStats.aspx and ServerStats.aspx.vb (Pretty much cut and paste) and compiled it. There were two errors that state that it can not write to DotNetNuke.dll and DotNetNuke.pdb under the VSWebCache.

1.) What does this error mean, how do i fix it; do I even need to?
2.) How do I install this module?  I'm pretty sure I use the .zip under installation folder.

Thank you for any help you provide..........

    Jon

Does anybody have any Idea? Should I copy the files asked for in the Install.zip/.dnn xml into the Install.zip folder?

Do a search for VSWebCache....not specifically a DNN thing...  But it often gets hung up.  Go into that folder an nuke whatever you find (while Visual Studio is closed of course).  Then re-open Visual Studio and your solution, then try again.

    Hi: skunkx1
I was getting the exact same error earlier today and what I to take care of it was, saved my work, closed all instances of VS.NET and then went to the vswebcache folder under my profile and deleted it. I then opened up my project again and built it without a problem, my best guess is that soimething had locked the files inside the cache folder so by exiting VS.NET and deleting the folder you basically allow VS.net to recreate the folder and start fresh again. hope that helps!
