Have you created a new website with the Club starterkit as a template?
The club starterkit don't work in the same way at the portal staterkit or any of the other VS 2003 starterkits. It works in the same way as the personal web site template that is build it to vs2005 or VWD2005 express.
After you have installed the staterkit:
Open VS2005/VWD2005 and select new website from the file menu.
Select your language, site name and club starter kit from the "My templates" area.
Click OK,
When all the files are created you can use Ctrl-F5 to run your new club site.

opening and running club site
May 01, 2005 02:25 AM|LINK
Just getting my feet wet w/ beta 2. Have done a fair bit of dev work w/ asp.net.
I've gone thru the installation process for the club site but get all kinds of errors when I try to open it and run it bu "Open Website".
Can anybody give an old dog a clue on how to get started?
Thanks
