    richarde,

I'm such a dope. After all that re imaging and the same problem. I did however resolve it. I just created a new ASP.NET website using the VWD 2005 developer. This obviously created a new website under wwwroot, where I believe permissions would be set up correctly already. I then copied all the files Personal Web Site over to this directory. Then compiled and built the project and voila, worked perfectly.

Such a stupid mistake but knew it had to be a permission problem of some kind.

Thanks for all your help, you were trying to resolve what was definately a user issue.

Is there a safe solution to giving write access but not compromising security? Thanks once again.
