I created a role and granted it edit permissions to an html module but it does not allow them to edit the contents.  The function menu appears but it only contains links to Help and Online Help.  Is this by design?  How can I work around it?  I do not want the user to be an administrator.

Also, the Help page for the html module doesn't seem to work properly for non-admin accounts.  The help image across the top is broken and rather than showing the help text it just shows the html contents of the module.

Anyone else having these problems?

Heh, always fun talking to oneself.

Both issues appear to be caused by module-level caching.  The html module had a cache time of 60 seconds.  Setting that to 0 removed the above problems.

Has this been solved yet? I am experiencing the same thing: as soon as you set a cache value for the module the edit roles are not able to edit the content. I've tested this on different portals.
