Do any one have a idea as to how to implement ONLINE Editing for word documents ?
My requirement is as follows :
The user can edit a document(word or excel) downloaded from a web site(asp.net application) and on click of "Save"
directly save the update on to the server.

Please advise.

the control (textControl) solves the problem for word document however
my requirement is also for Excel and PowerPoint.
I will be grateful if u have some suggestion for the same.

My requirement is also same but with win forms.I have installed the TextControl Activex control

As per my knowledge, it is not used for opening files from server.

This s/w is used to open the applications, if MSWord is not installed in non developing systems.

Can you please help me on this.
