    Re: Aivea eShip

This company probably offers one of the worst professional services in the software development industry. Because of them we are stuck completing a fairly large e-commerce project and now we have to start all over again. It delayed our project delivery date by 2 weeks!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW A BETTER COMPANY?

We wasted over 2.5 weeks over installing this software on our server and it would not work. When we asked for support, we were kept given same instructions after instructions rather than have someone to call for 10 minutes to see if we can resolve installation problem. As per their claim their software is very simple to install. I offered to pay for installation then I was told it will take 3 hrs at the rate of $45/hr to install it!!! If it was so easy to install why would it take 3 hours to install it :)

Anyhow because of the urgency of the situation I said fine I will pay for it. After that I was told pay upfront becuase I told them after this project most likely I will not use their solution again for any other project :) Ahhhhhh....So if you decide not to use their solution later on and still willing to pay for their service thats how you get treated.

There solution may be works (They claim Intel uses it), but it didn't work for us. There software may require re compiling and other tweaking as per their instructions. Installation support is not free, they want payments up front for work which you have no idea that if after spending more money if it will work or not.

Payments are made via paypal which is always a sign of company that can't stand behind their work becuase its hard to get a refund. I am not as much as worry about losing Pathetic $195 dollars, but the experience will for sure leave a bad taste in my mouth for years to come by.

As a software development company in business since 1990, I would question the credibility fo this organization very seriously.

    Cheers!

P.S: Lesson learned.....Always check a company credentials before make any purchase.

This is "Humbleguy" first post, what a coincidence that he posts to this thread from the 1000s in the ASP.NET forums?  ... You are the baby "Humbleguy" ... you are nothing but the Solucomp dude with the complaint, who doesn't know how to create a virtual directory in IIS.

You get mature and admit that you need to learn .... Go back to School!

Sorry to disapoint you, I´m not. check my ip - and you can se that i´m from a different country.

I´m sad to say that I´m a new customer to Aivea - and chocked about how you treat you customers!
Maybe Solucomp really is an idiot.. BUT as a company you should ALWAYS work profesional..  and according to the writings above you are not.

You have just showed me that it was a BIG misstake to buy your product, by these writings and by your sadly "support". I will warn others about your so called company..

In this Announcements forum, component vendors are welcome to announce their product, and customers are welcome to provide a product review.

However, this thread has moved from an announcement and a review to a public mud-slinging match. Please refrain from using the ASP.NET Forums in this manner.
