    Has anybody been able to get the vertical solpartmenu to work with other browsers. I have a menu that's laid out very nice in IE with some padding around the menu items. When I view it in Opera, Mozilla, Firefox the padding all dissapears. Installing version 1.4.0.0 of the solpartmenu really messes things up in IE. In a vertical menu the last item has a bunch of padding on the bottom of it and it still renders without any padding in Mozilla.

    I've posted these problems at the Solpart site to no avail and decided to look here for assistance.

    Thanks!

    Curious where you posted the info on Solpart?

    Sounds like your applying some CSS that is not supported by the other browsers, not sure you would call that a menu problem.

    If you have a URL, I'd be happy to have a look when I get some time.

    Thanks for the offer. Site should be going live very soon so I'll post it up and see what we can find.

    FWIW I played with the css validator in FireFox this weekend and couldn't seem to track down the source of my problems.

    Here is a vertical DNN menu, my DotNetNuke NaviBar, looks almost identical in other browsers, FireFox, Netscape, as in IE, because the menu produces only basic html elements, hyperlinks, tables. Its look and feel are very easy to customize too.

    I doubt it. The padding property he is talking about is supported across all the major browsers.

    I am getting my back-side handed to me at church for the menu (lower levels) not appearing in Firefox. Is this the new Netscape pains in the **** we have to deal with?

    Can someone help me please?

    I am having the same problem with Firefox. I'm not sure what setting in the CSS has to be set in order for the background of the sub-menu items to be viewed on top.

    The problem usally is
    }
    .MainMenu_SubMenu {
    BORDER-RIGHT: #404040 0px solid; BORDER-TOP: #ff8080 0px solid; Z-INDEX: 1000; FILTER: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(color='DimGray', Direction=135, Strength=3); BORDER-LEFT: #ff8080 0px solid; CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #404040 0px solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #333333
    }
    Make sure that your skin have class for this.
    In other case the default skin gives the class.
