When editing the Module Settings for a Module, there is a Border entry field. What does this field do, and what are the possible values?

I have tried everything I can think of to enter there, and never see any noticable change.

I initially tried entering border-styles (inset, outset, etc.), but it only seems to persist the first character of what I enter, not to mention the fact that I see no change in the appearance of the module.

I then thought perhaps it was the border-size (thickness), so I tried 1 and 9 to see if a border got bigger...but no dice.

Then I thought perhaps it was a boolean to enable/disable a border, so I tried a 1 and 0 and still no change!

What does this enigmatic field do? Is there any documentation anywhere that specifies this? I can't seem to find any.

    Thanks.
