I am not totaly sure but that sounds like combination between your connect string and
the SQL Server setup. I have seen that before but not in relation to the Commerce PA.

Has anyone else had this problem?

FYI: You do have to be logged in to use the module it needs a User ID to operate properly.

Do a search on "Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection".

I will take a look at the PA also.

    Thanks for your feedback.

So you need to be logged on even to browse the listed items? Can this be changed?
Also how or when are there plans to integrate Payment processors?

    Thanks again.

I have tried this on a localhost and remote production server environment with the same error.

After a bit more playing around I figured out that my install does not have a db connection figured in web.config at the top (the connection string for legacy modules) - hence the error.

So with this fixed it works fine (great job by the way), it just doesnt use the data provider fully.

    Regards

No you don't have to be logged in to browse the listed items.
Yes this can be chagned. Maybe if someone wanted to create
a module specific web.config with a default user ID or a booloean
check field to help things along.

If I add payment processors it will be in a different version.
This one will stay a starter kit.

I think I cut some one off from downloading the PA yesterday. I am sorry.
The site is back up. I did not think the 2.1.2 upgrade would be so difficult.
I am still not sure what I was doing wrong.

I noticed today that the _PopularItems.ascx code was commented out
And did not work properly. I have corrected the issue, and posted the corrected
    Code and PA.

    Sorry for the inconvenience.
