If anybody can provide a set of steps on how to setup SMTP (which I believe is what IssueTracker uses) in order to allow the application to send email notifications, I would appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi gporta,

Thanks for using the Issue Tracker!

There are two settings for SMTP which you can configure in the application Web.Config file (You can open this file in notepad). The two settings are:

    * SmtpServer -- The address of your email server. The default value is localhost

    * NotifyEmail -- The email FROM address used when sending the notification emails

After these two options are configured, users can subscribe to notifications by clicking the Receive Notification button under the Notifications tab on the Issue page.

    Hope this helps!

so to better understand this, the NotifyEmail can only be set to one user (eg: admin)? If so, what if you have like mutiple people who can sign on beside the admin and assign issues to a people, how would you go about that? what would the NotifyEmail be set to?
