  can't install sdk

  I'm on a new machine, I've downloaded the sdk no worries but when I run it to install it won't let me install it because I haven't installed the framework for 1.1, howver i've got the framework for 2.0 installed, do I need to install 1.1 and will i need to re-install 2.0 to keep 2.0 features?

  Which sdk? If it's for 1.1 what I would do is run aspnet_regiis /i from the C:\%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322 folder. If v1.1 isn't installed for some reason, install it first. Once the sdk is installed, set version 2.0 as the primary version again.   I hadn't installed 1.1 because I didn't relise you needed it installed if you had 2.0 installed, i assumed 2.0 would included the 1.1 framework

  I just downloaded and ran the update for 1.1, but it failed because it couldn't find machine.config, it said to check for 1.0 / install if not there, it appears to be there so I'm just going to install the .net restributable again and see what happens.
