I was looking at these products, I was considering picking one of them up early, while learning ASP.NET so I can learn them right off and start making professional looking interfaces. Anyone try both of these? I read some comments on the NetAdvantage 2003.
Are these worth getting? I know from PHP the most difficult time i have is with the interface and look and feel, and if these tools can give me a nice look and feel, I would be really interested in them. Any other products that do this that people use and
recommend as well?
Wow, that product is quite expensive as you have to purchase each control individually per developer. They don't look bad, but they don't have a suite?
as a single developer I didn't look at the cost other than what I needed to pay for my own use :) But the Grid control is a suite http://www.devexpress.com/products/net/aspxgrid/index.asp and the ASPxNavigation consist of Menu Bar, Popup menu and NavBar (like
Explorer TaskBar) http://www.devexpress.com/products/net/aspxnavigation/index.asp There are two things I like about DevExpress components for ASP.NET .. ease of designing with and their support team is one of the best. I don't regret for a second the money
spent.

Well, since the suite from ComponentOne is included in the free Visual Basic Resource Kit, I would say go that way http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dv_vstechart/html/vbresourcekit.asp Bruce
Doesn't matter if you code in C# or VB, the components in the suite are the same. In fact I think they are written in C#, but in .Net it really does not make a difference what some component is written in. If I remember right ComponentOne provides examples
in both languages along with the product. Bruce
