The PHP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant Alpha is designed to help you convert PHP pages and applications to ASP.NET. It does not make the conversion process completely automatic, but it will speed up your project by automating some of the steps required for migration.

This is a very early release (Alpha) of the PHP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant and we need your feedback to make it a great tool. Please use the PHP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant forum to report any bugs or suggestions.

Once it’s finished, we plan to make the migration assistant available as a free download, similar to the Java Language Conversion Assistant that is available today.

I'm unfamiliar with ASP.NET but need to convert some PHP to ASP.Net and saw that Visual Studio .NET was needed. I was told there were many components to Visual Studio .NET and what component was it that I would need. Could you assist me in determining what component I would need to do the PHP to ASP.NET conversion? Thank you.
