  Using rpt v8.5 in ASP.NET (C#)

  Hello All, We have several rpt (using store procedures and .ttx) files in CR v8.5 that were used in our VB6 application. We are replacing this application with ASP.NET. Is it possible that we can use the existing rpt files (CR v8.5) in ASP.NET? If so, how can I do that? Any help is greatly appreciated. Vic

  I would just copy the rpt files (so you have a backup) and drop em into your ASP.NET project in VS. Bring the rpt into the project and try opening it in VS.NET. If you using VS.NET, you'll be using Crystal 9 (a different version from what they sell...but V9 nonetheless). I remember the old days when opening a Crystal 6 report in Crystal 7. It would open fine but it would change the report to a Crystal 7 report and there was no going back to Crystal 6 then. I don't know if it's still the case now with the newer versions. LH
