Hi, all

I built Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll successfully and then I used Customize Toolbox ... to install them to tool box. TreeView did appeared as a selectable control in Web Forms area. But when I drag and drop a TreeView control to a aspx design file, I got "Error Creating Control -TreeCtrl" message appearing in an icon plus an "!" mark with it. What am I doing wrong? Any help is highly appreaciated.

I once had this problem although my treeview worked despite the error message. What I did was to manually set a reference to the Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll and the error message disappeared! Honestly, I can't justify this but it worked!

First of all, VS.Net 2003 is hardwired to Framework 1.1
If it's not the case, you have to recompile the dll altering build.bat
Once you've compiled the dll, add a new component in VS.Net Toolbox browsing to C:\Program Files\IE Web Controls\build\Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.dll

That could solve the second issue.
