I've installed ASP.NET 2012.2 but the new SPA templates etc are not showing up on the File > New Project window. I've tried repairs also with no improvement. Any one else seen this and have a solution?

You have to select "ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Application" - then a new window shows up that has the templates, including SPA and Facebook application.

Thanks, but this is after selecting the MVC4 project. I just have the original 8 templates available.

I have this problem too, on two machines. A colleague of mine has also experienced the same problem. I notice that we're all in the UK, could it be a locale problem?

I don't think so - I am in USA and have same issue.
I posted my own question few days ago but without any luck so far...
BTW, what version of VS (exact version from About box) do you have?
Do you have Update 2 CTP installed? Maybe that is that is the issue (just guessing)?

I have exactly the same problem (US locale however).
I had 2012.2 CTP installed previously.

ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 for Visual Studio 2012 can be installed using Web Platform installer.
You can also install ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 manually. You must have Visual Studio 2012 or Visual Studio Express 2012 for Web installed. You could follow the instructions in the link below to install it:
ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 installation notes
You should enable "Visual Studio Web Development Feature" in Visual Studio 2012, and try these Standalone installers:
Microsoft ASP.NET and Web Frameworks 2012.2
hope it helps you,

Thanks, I had tried that. (Found the links in Scott Hanselman's blogs) Didn't fix the problem either.
Do you know where I can find checksums for the packages? Maybe I am getting older versions due to incorrect caching at my ISP?
