Good morning to all of the knowledge I request all of you, is that I need to convert an application that I have in php to asp.net and the only way I've seen that has worked for many people is with PHP to ASP.NET 1.x Migration Assistant but when trying to
install will not let me. I thank all of you if I cooperate or tell me a way to convert php code to visual.net.
Here is a migration guide that will give you a strategy to move from PHP to ASP.NET. Unfortunately, there are no quick easy tools available to do the job for you.
thank you very much for the reply, but I wonder if there is another PHP to ASP.NET Migration Assistant to work with Asp.Net 2010?, because I want to save work and I have to convert a large application.
I really wish there were but unfortunately, there isn't. The asp.net 1.1 tool is the only one they ever came out with and it was such a disaster they never decided to revisit it again.
Mark as answer posts that helped you.

At best, that tool only works for asp.net 1.1 and even then it never worked really all that well. I hate to sound like to voice of gloom and doom but your best option may be to re-write the entire app as ASP.net, continue using it as a PHP application or
you could pay a web development house to handle the conversion. In any case, there is no silver bullet solution.
Also, it converts PHP to Classic ASP. I figure if you get it to classic, you may have an easier time making the jump to asp.net but again, you are in for some work no matter what you do. At least this should help you some.

Here is about the closest that you will come to finding a tool that converts but remember, it won't convert everything over.
