  aspnet_isapi.dll missing in installation in IIS7 windows server 2008 R2 Web

  Hi all,

  I'm installing .Net Framework 4.0 in a dedicated server but i can't find aspnet dlls in the normal folder.

  I'm using : dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64.exe as installer.

  And looking for the files in the normal folder: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319

  Run all the updates etc. but those files never appear so i can't allow the ISAPI later.

  Any ideas?

  May I please know the Windows OS that you use? I assume you must use at least Windows Server 2008 for .NET 4.0
  
  If yes and .NET 4.0 still gives you problems, please try to uninstall it and reinstall it.
