Mobile website shortcut icon

Hi

I have made a mobile version of a website.

I want to make a downloadable shortcut link of this mobile website which should be an icon and can be imported to the mobile devices.

This shortcut icon should be compatible for android, mac and other operating systems.

Hi,

You can do that using options in the browser!

For example in Apple Mobile Safari - http://www.gottabemobile.com/2012/06/19/how-create-website-shortcuts-iphone-homescreen/

Moreover, if you wish to download entire web application as a shorcut, then you can think of Offline apps - http://blogs.adobe.com/cantrell/archives/2011/11/building-an-offline-mobile-web-application.html

Is there any possible way to create a shortcut icon for mobile web application like offline mobile apps have?

Hi,

NO, you can do that only through the option in the browsers, not programatically with Mobile web applications!
