Just did that, and viewed the <add assembly...> reference in web.config, then closed VS and re-opened, but the syntax error is still present on the page, both for 'System.XML.Linq' and under the term 'Root.'

Thank you. I'll do a reply to the PM so I can get you to look at it as soon as I can be at the machine for as long as needed. Would like to solve this mystery of why I have everything referenced but it's still asking for library references.

Try adding the System.Xml.Linq reference to your project!

It's pretty weird. There is nothing much stuff involved in it. It's simple code. I really don't understand what's going wrong!
