I have an application already deployed on a couple of customers utilizing signalr for communication. It works on windows 2003 server with IIS 6.0 with the mappings configuration, also works on win 7 and iis express. But for windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5 the
hubs file although it's served, the signalr.hub with the list of server methods is NOT included in the script therefore clients can't connect to the hub.

Please update to the latest signalr version 1.0.0.rc2 (http://nuget.org/packages/Microsoft.AspNet.signalr) and see if this reproes.
0.5.3 was an old version of SignalR and has been retired. 1.0 has many changes and will be the supported version.

First thing would be to update from 0.5.3 to 1.0 rc2 since tons of bugs have been fixed and you might just be running into one of the.
Second, what is in your bin folder of your application on IIS 7.5?

I can't replace the current version of SignalR as product has been released.
In the bin folder I have some custome dll we built to handle some process + SignalR.dll + Signal.hosting.AspNet.dll + Signal.Hosting.Common dll. Each of the signalr dlls with its corresponding xml file.
Like I specified in my question, I have it working on other OS but it's having problems with Win 2008 server + iis 7.5

Ok, I hate to answer myself. For some reason the website configuration set by the installed had something weird that was impeding signalr to initiate the hub. I decided to remove the website and add it back manually and now works fine.
Not sure if anybody is aware of some configuration in iis 7.5 that may cause this kind of problems.
