  SQL CLR deployment with unsafe permission

  Hi there,

  I have two question

  1) Deploying SQL CLR with unsafe permission is proper apporch (for ODBC connection & DDTeks required unsafe permission)

  2) Some how ,can we deploy SQL CLR with EXTERNAL_ACCESS if I am using ODBC connection or DDTek dll in it

  Hi,

  I think you can deploy sql clr with External_access when using odbc connection. But you should set permission as unsafe.

  And I suggest you using ado.net instead of odbc.

  Still same error... I am using ODBC for sybase batabase connection not  SQL server
