I installed WebDeploy_2_10_amd64_en-US in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.
I imported my application using a tool of IIS 7 ( deploy -> import application ) with my Package coming from Visual web developer 2010.
My web site is ok and I have access from my client.
Now, when I try to deploy my application to my server target Win2008 I have this error: "
Connected to 'MYIP'
using the Web Deployment Agent Service, but could not authorize. Make sure you are an admin on 'MYIP'.
The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.Publish failed to deploy."
My user is an administrator of my target server.
Can you help me?

My settings are these:
1) Web deployment Agent Service - started
2) IIS Manager Permissions - "MyUser" level Site, level Application
3) Management Service - Enable remote connections
4) Windows Authentication Enabled
5) IIS Manager user - "MyUser"

It seems like an issue with the Web Deploy tool. Since it's more related to Web Deploy, please post your question on the "Web Deployment Tool" section in IIS forums.
Please 'Mark as Answer' if this post helps you.
