  ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 Setup Fails

  Hi,

  Anyone having trouble with this installing? I'm running on Win7.

  "Setup Failed"

  One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup.

  0x80004005 - Unspecified error

  It takes some time trying to install (Processing). It has a link for the log file but it doesn't do anything. Anyone know where the log file is for this?

  Help please with any ideas.

  Hi,

  I found the problem. Interestingly enough, when I downloaded the setup file for this, it hadn't completely downloaded and then the install failed. I did find the log file in ,my %temp% directory:

  dd_AspNetWebTools2012_2__20130116130314.txt

  I launched the install and after it failed I sorted the dir based on time - there it was right at the top of the list.
